The four times winner of the Crystal Cabin Award during Aircraft Interior Expo 2007, Lamera, is a spin-off company from Volvo offering weight saving materials for the aircraft industry.

The main product, the metal sheet sandwich material Hybrix™ can be used to dramatically reduce the weight of sheet metal components in aircraft interiors.
Hybrix™ is tested and approved according to the relevant sections of FAR/JAR 25.853.

Besides demonstrating new weight saving applications for Hybrix™ and DecoBrix™ (a new cost saving surface technology for colours and textures that will replace anodizing, painting and decorative laminates), Lamera will also introduce Hybrix in aluminium.
