  • Advice on creating your press pack/press release for paperless media centre

    A press pack is a file that holds details of what your company is focusing on during the exhibition. It allows members of the press to see at a glance any news stories exhibitors may have such as a new product launch, new piece of research or advancement in technology etc.

    Aircraft Interiors Expo runs a paperless/electronic press centre, which consists of a USB stick – available for all media to pick up from the press centre – that contains electronic versions of exhibitor press packs and product images.

    We do not require printed copies of your press pack, instead email an electronic version of your press pack.

  • Six Steps for Press Pack Success

    1. Keep it concise

    Don't let your key messages get lost in other news.

    Sum up your news story in the first paragraph of your press release.

    Maximum length: two sides of A4.

    2. Keep it relevant

    Your press pack needs to be relevant to what you are promoting at AIX, so you do not dilute your key message.

    Company history, personnel bios and brochures can be obtained by the media later.

    3. Provide pictures

    Include a relevant picture within the first page of your press release to help attract attention to the story.

    Please be careful of the file size of the image, keep it to a maximum of 1MB.

  • 4. Include contact details

    Always have your company name and stand number clearly visible within the press pack, and preferably at the top of the document.

    This way, journalists can find and promote you at the show.

    5. File Format and Size

    We need to receive your packs in the best format to showcase all exhibitor news on the USB sticks.

    Maximum pack size: 4MB in total.
    Each exhibitor can submit one file.

    Do not send PowerPoint files – journalists may think it is a company presentation and be deterred from looking at your news.

    6. Meet Your Deadline

    Submit your press release to our PR team by 28th March 2018.
