What did I miss in 2016 - Day 3

#AIX2016 Day 3

Day 3 at Aircraft Interiors Expo was business as usual for our exhibitors and visitors and there was still just as much innovation filling the Hamburg Messe as there was on Day 1 and 2.

Exhibitors:

Take a look at which exhibitors we caught up with on the final day of Aircraft Interiors Expo 2016:

Mareijin Willems, Fokker Services

Andrew Kemmetmueller, Gogo

News:

With over 530 exhibitors from the industry there's no surprise that new announcements and deals have been taking place over the course of the three days. Here's just some of the news:

  •  Airbus announced the identity of the launch operator at the ceremony on their stand yesterday morning which is Tap Portugal; the company will operate the re-engined Airbus A330 neo.
  • Lumexis have been showing off the latest generation of its fibre optics-based in-flight entertainment system as it continues its mission to achieve line fit offerability on Airbus aircraft and Boeing widebodies.
  • Airline Services Interiors has won a contract with Aer Lingus for major refurbishment of three of its Boeing 757-200s, including refurbing the new lie-flat Thompson Aero Vantage business class seats, new IFE and in-seat power.

It’s a wrap:

Thank you to everyone who visited and exhibited Aircraft Interiors 2016 over the past 3 days to help make it a huge success, we’ve enjoyed reading your lovely tweets and comments.
