Mechlok®

A Mechlok® is a mechanical, linear locking device that combines the rod, housing, bushings, locking springs, actuation lever, and attach ends into a fully integrated assembly (or clamshell construction). It consists primarily of a steel rod gripped by two locking springs that bear against specially configured holding bushings swaged into a surrounding tubular housing (or has two halves of the clamshell housing welded to the bushings to create a finished assembly).
