Schneller introduced their second annual collection of laminate and non-textile flooring designs at the Aircraft Interiors Expo. This innovative new collection was designed by Schneller’s own Creative Design Leader – Leo Esteve who was inspired by the contraction of Design and Chronology. The latest collection is Schneller’s humble attempt to pay tribute to Design History from the origins of Creation applied to Mass Production beginning with the first industrial revolution to the very latest innovations of the 21st century.
The Schneller design team studied how graphic and product design notions emerged and developed through the years, being influenced by the constantly moving social and historical contexts. Turning historical inspiration into graphic themes, the Schneller design team translated the core Artistic Movements and Creative Groups into 24 new designs using their latest printing technologies and effect pigments.
“The collection on display is intended to provide inspiration, ideas and concepts for our customers and represents our continued effort to expand our design offering.” states Diane Geisler, Schneller’s Director of Marketing and Business Development. “We had tremendous success with the 2011 collection launched at the Aircraft Interiors Expo last year. Several customers utilized concepts from the laminate designs presented as inspiration for their commercial aviation programs.” The company has recently commercialized several new laminate and flooring textures in addition to their enhanced woodgrain offering.
