New Berlin, Wis., USA (March, 2012) – EMTEQ is introducing their new drop-in LED lighting solution for airline B737NG fleets bringing a very cost effective mood lighting solution to the cabin. This retro-fit solution allows you to offer your passengers the enhanced experience found on newer production aircraft without any significant wiring or attendant panel modifications. EMTEQ’s LED system provides a crisp white lighting along with a rich blue replicating some of the effects available in the new B737NG interior. Alternate colors can be selected such as red and green in place of the blue. In addition to the drop-in system, full mood lighting upgrades are available utilizing the same drop-in bracket system. Use color to accent the cabin, provide night lighting, or to set the ambience of your cabin to match your brand – the possibilities are endless.
This unique bracket system is designed to replace outdated fluorescent systems -including all ballasts and power supplies- with a cost-effective, drop-in system utilizing existing mounting provisions and connectors. EMTEQ’s system will also work with the existing control interface and attendant switch panel. This system utilizes EMTEQ’s 115VAC ELW83 LED wash light, and a version of our 115VAC accent lighting. Originally designed as a dual color drop-in system for the B737NG, a single color drop-in system has been designed for the A320 family and minor modifications allow either the single, dual or full color systems to be used on other aircraft platforms.
EMTEQ is an industry leader for LED lighting in the aviation industry with our ELW83 system proven on multiple airline fleets. EMTEQ also offers LED reading lights, galley and lavatory lighting, passenger call lights, work station lighting and other lighting products for applications throughout the aircraft. Upgrading to LED lighting provides additional benefits of reduced weight, current draw, heat emission and audible noise in the cabin. LED lighting also eliminates many maintenance hassles such as broken bulbs and smoking ballasts in the cabin.
