Dr. Mark Hiller has been Managing Director and Chief Operations Officer at RECARO Aircraft Seating, headquartered in Schwaebisch Hall, Germany, since 2007. He is responsible for the entire product development process, including research and development, purchasing, production and quality. Prior to his appointment to the Management Board, he was Senior Vice President of Customer Affairs, which included sales, programme management and customer support. From 2003 to 2005 he was Head of Synergy Management for the Keiper Recaro Group in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Mark Hiller studied industrial engineering at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and at the Babcock Graduate School of Management, Wake Forest, USA. He received his PhD in industrial engineering in 2002.
