AboutSarah Klatt-Walsh, a native of Chicago, USA, has been in the airline industry for 24 years. She started her aviation career in 1988 with Swissair Catering, and worked 10 years on the catering side in various management functions in Zurich and Hong Kong, before moving into the airline side of the business with Swissair in 1999. She has worked in various roles within Product and Marketing for Swissair and AMP (Airline Management Partnership, Swissair and Sabena), setting new inflight standards for both airlines. She then took the opportunity to work in another start-up situation with Swiss International Air Lines, the new Swiss airline created from Swissair and Crossair. Sarah Klatt-Walsh started at SWISS as General Manager Catering Operations, and has been with SWISS since 2002 in different product roles, responsible for all areas of the customer experience from Ground to Cabin Interior to Inflight Services. Her current role as Director Inflight Product & Services allows her to focus more on the hospitality side of the business. Together with her team, she directly influences the onboard experience – and overall customer satisfaction – of all SWISS customers. Sarah studied at the University of Michigan, the Culinary Institute of America, and at the London Business School. She lives near Zurich Switzerland with her husband.
